Hello!

Just want to know about the "Send PCs" options...

Does "Send PCs" just:
* turn on/off the option to send PCs with each preset by adding it to the device PCs/checkboxes at the top of each preset?
(but any IA buttons programmed with PCs will still send)
* Or does it also disable any PCs being sent to that device on preset changes if there are IA buttons which send PCs regardless of the saved state of those buttons (but once in the preset you can then use IA buttons which send PCs)?
* Or does it stop any PCs being sent to it ever (i.e. won't offer the option to change PC at the top of the preset + will disable any IA buttons that send PCs on preset changes + will disable/discard all IA button messages that send PCs to it all the time ever - so you cannot change PC ever)

Instead of controlling my MIDI controlled amp with a PC for each preset, I have programmed the first 4 MIDI presets of it with each of the 4 channels. I can then have an amps page with IA buttons for each PC so I effectively have amp channel programmed as an exclusive group. I can then save the button state (amp channel) with each preset in the PBC. But I'm not sure if I should be turning send PCs off to stop any chance of me sending 2 conflicting PCs, or if that stops sending any and my amp would stop switching channels.

The SEND PCs checkbox does enable or disable only the PCs that are sent as part of the preset (...the device PCs/checkboxes at the top of each preset...). Any PCs you assign to IA buttons are still sent, and you would be correct to uncheck the SEND PCs checkbox otherwise the device would receive multiple PCs per preset.

Ah ok cool.

I've been using it with send PCs on, but unchecking the box at the top of each preset so just the IA buttons send the PCs. But every so often (especially if I've been editing lots of new presets) I find I haven't unchecked it and I'm sending 2 conflicting ones, so I'll turn that off and save myself some bother. Thanks! :)

Kinda makes most sense it works like that as if you only want to send on actual button presses (not that I do), you could turn off the send on preset changes for those IA slots that send PCs, or just program it to never send any.
