Effect gizmo issue

Hello.

I’m using the effect gizmo (rack) to run my wet dry wet system acting like a splitter into the effects then into a MLC
Line mixer.

The first loop is the dry signal that Incan turn on and off and mute the system.

Before the gizmo I’m running a two notes OPUS that is being fed by the amp speaker out (load box aside)

Now the issue; even with the system with no signal coming out of any loops, there still a background guitar playing, sounds a bit like an amp without cab but low volume.

I put a P-split III before the gizmo input and it took off some of it but there’s still some in the background.

Is this normal? What am I doing wrong?

This happened too when using the system in mono on the FX loop of a fender hot rod DeVille with volume on 6

Can you provide some details as to which input and output jacks you're using on the Effect Gizmo and exactly which EG you have?

I’m using the first 8 loops, I plug into the 1-4 in
All signal to the effects is going out from the sends into the pedals then into the MLC line mixer
I have the rack one with 12 loops

Try putting the P-split III after each SEND of the Gizmo, one at a time, to see if and which makes any difference.
