PBC + H90: PC messages overriding CC bypass?

I'm using a PBC and an H90 connected via MIDI. Communication between the two devices works fine.

What I want to do is assign the H90 A and B bypass functions to buttons on the Buttons page, so that they can also be controlled from the Presets page.

This works fine with other MIDI devices, but for some reason, it doesn't work with the H90.

I think the incoming PC messages are overwriting or interfering with the CC bypass commands.

Has anyone experienced this or know how to properly configure it?

This is a common issue with the H 90. The best way around it right now is to insert a “delay” action (I think that’s what it’s called) of around 350 milliseconds prior to the CC action of bypassing the A or B button. The H90 has an issue where it can’t receive CCs until around 350ms after it has changed programs. Eventide has said they are going to fix it but honestly, there are a lot of design choices that were made with the H90 that will make this very hard to fix.

H90에서 흔히 발생하는 문제입니다. 현재로서는 A 또는 B 버튼을 건너뛰는 CC 동작 전에 약 350밀리초 정도의 "딜레이" 동작(정확한 명칭은 모르겠습니다)을 추가하는 것이 최선의 해결책입니다. H90은 프로그램 변경 후 약 350밀리초가 지나야 CC를 수신할 수 있는 문제가 있습니다. Eventide 측에서는 이 문제를 해결할 것이라고 밝혔지만, H90의 설계상 여러 가지 요소 때문에 수정이 매우 어려울 것으로 예상됩니다.

I found that the PC delay was being caused by the spillover function. After setting spillover to 3 seconds, it works properly with about a 287 ms delay. That solved the issue. Thanks a lot for the help!
