Stupid Question - MIDI In Port

Can Midi be sent OUT of the Midi IN port? Dumb question I know, and I looked in the editor just to see if there was a box to check (didn't see anything obvious)....but just due to the physical layout of my board, sure would make cable runs easier. Thought I'd ask.

Yes you can, but you'll need to have a special cable made that connects pins 1 and 3 on the GT side to pins 4 and 5 on the other side. (Also connect pin 2 using the shield wire)

Once that's done, set MIDI Port to MIDI In for all devices that are connected to the input port.
