MM LT Function switch #1 not working

My MM LT function switch 1 is not working the status indicator on the display toggles on/off as it should but the relay never opens. I always have continuity between the tip and sleeve of the output jack. Function sw #2 is working fine. I seen a thread somewhere about the replacement relay part number but couldn't find it again.

If the indicator changes when you toggle the function switch, then your settings are probably ok. The relay will probably need to be replaced. The part number is Kemet EE2-5TNU. I've never seen it happen with this specific model of relay, but with other ones, I've seen where the function switch had too much current go through it and the relay contacts welded together inside.

I double checked my settings and have Fn Sw #1 and #2 provisioned the same. I'm using a function switch to trigger a channel switch on an amp. Fn Sw 2 works just fine opens and closes the circuit, changes the status indicator on the display, and changes the led on the switch. Fn Sw 1 changes the display, changes the led, but never opens the circuit. I prefer to use the #1 switch to facilitate "normal cabling" for the channel switch circuit. I would assume this supports the theory of the relay being the faulty component.

While I have your ear the other function I've never been able to get working properly is provisioning a dedicated switch (in this case an external switch) to provide a "all bypass" switch as an emergency one button straight to the amp function. I'm sure this isn't really difficult the global function seems designed for such function. I'm only controlling 2 pedals with the controller, a TC Plethora X5, and a TC Nova Drive. I only use the LT in song/setlist mode each song only requires 1 PC change for each song. Everything else is done with CC changes to turn each slot on the units on/off. I want it to function by sending the 7 CC off commands to the individual channels of the 2 pedals, but be able to tap any preset button on that song and be back to normal. I can make parts of this work but not all at once, I think it's the overrides and such that i'm not getting correct.
